He brings over two decades of experience in advanced communications and networking, with industry leaders including Motorola, Nokia, Twilio, and Cisco Systems. Alberto is actively engaged with international standards bodies, including CCSDS and the IETF, contributing to the evolution of Delay/Disruption Tolerant Networking (DTN), and networking architectures targeting LEO, Moon, and Mars. He currently serves on the board of the Interplanetary Networking Special Interest Group (IPNSIG), helping shape the future of interplanetary networking.
