Dr. Greg Autry is Space Czar and Associate Provost at the University of Central Florida and a Visiting Professor at Imperial College London. Dr. Autry has served twice on the NASA Agency Review Team (2016, 2024) and as White House Liaison at NASA. He has been twice nominated to serve as NASA’s Chief Financial Officer (2020, 2025). He also served two terms on the Commercial Space Transportation Advisory Committee (COMSTAC) at the FAA. Dr. Autry is a serial entrepreneur and the author of A Red Moon Rising(Post Hill 2024) and A New Entrepreneurial Dynamic(Flatworld 2022). He serves on the editorial review boards of: The New Space Journal and The Journal of Space Safety Engineering. He publishes frequently in Foreign Policy, Forbes, and Space News. Dr. Autry holds an MBA and a PhD from the University of California, Irvine.
