Dr. Maher Al-Dayeh

Senior Manager, Heliophysics | Space Science Division | Southwest Research Institute (SwRI)

Dr. Maher Dayeh is a space scientist and senior manager of the Heliophysics section in the Space Science Division at Southwest Research Institute (SwRI). His expertise spans more than 25 years in space weather, solar energetic particles, remote imaging of space plasmas, and the physics of lightning and thunder. He has authored or co-authored over 150 refereed publications and serves as the CoDICE Instrument Scientist on NASA's IMAP mission, with science team and guest investigator roles on IBEX, Parker Solar Probe, and IMAP missions. Dr. Dayeh earned his Ph.D. in Physics/Space Physics from Florida Institute of Technology and holds an adjoint faculty appointment at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
