Vincent Michaud, M.D.

Dr. Vincent Michaud, MD, is the Deputy Chief Health and Medical Officer within the Office of the Chief Health and Medical Office (OCHMO) located at NASA Headquarters in Washington, DC. He is responsible for the oversight of all NASA health and medical activities including medical aspects of all national and international NASA missions. Dr. Michaud retired from the USAF in 2012 after serving for 26 years. He served in a wide variety of settings as a clinical practitioner and medical leader. He received his undergraduate degree from Texas Christian University and a medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas and completed residencies in Aerospace Medicine and Occupational Medicine at the United States Air Force (USAF) School of Aerospace Medicine at Brooks AFB, Texas. He is a Fellow of the Aerospace Medical Association and is certified by the American Board of Preventive Medicine (Aerospace and Occupational Medicine).
