Eric Sundby

Co-Founder & CEO / Board Member | TerraSpace / Space Force Association

Eric Sundby is Co-Founder and CEO of TerraSpace, an early-stage company that builds AI-enabled sensor platforms for in-situ critical minerals exploration on Earth and in space. He serves as a Maritime Space Officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He is also a Partner at BTX Defense, and serves on several nonprofit boards, including the Space Force Association, Sooner Flight Academy’s Board of Advisors, and the Holocaust Art Restitution Project. He previously served as Executive Director of the Space Force Association, as an Adjunct at RAND, and as a Staff Assistant in the U.S. House of Representatives. Eric received education from the University of Oklahoma, University of Glasgow, Arizona State University, and the University of North Dakota, where he earned a PhD in Aerospace Sciences. His hobbies include skiing, piloting, travel, and history. He lives in the Texas Hill Country with his wife and son, two dogs, and two cats.
