Jimmy Spence is the Senior Development Specialist for Houston Airport System’s (HAS) Ellington Airport and Houston Spaceport.He oversees the development and marketing of the Houston Spaceport and works to attract companies to the burgeoning aerospace hub.He also works with educational institutions to support workforce development and training, and with industry leaders to provide utility to the aerospace ecosystem. Prior to joining the Houston Airport System, Jimmy worked for the Bay Area Houston Economic Partnership (BAHEP) where he coordinated a national advocacy effort on behalf of the American space program, led efforts to expand Houston’s aerospace industry, and worked with community stakeholders to grow and diversify the regional aerospace ecosystem.
