Joe Guzman

Founder and CEO | Space Cowboy ADR

Joe Guzman A retired Army Colonel and Space Operations veteran, Joe Guzman is a leading voice in orbital sustainability and the burgeoning ISAM ecosystem. As the Founder and CEO of Space Cowboy, Joe is architecting the policy and technical frameworks necessary to make space safe and sustainable for all humanity. By developing a fleet of microsatellites designed to find, capture, and dispose of lethal small-scale debris, his company is providing the critical "Active Debris Remediation" (ADR) required to protect a $1.8 trillion space economy. Joe’s strategic influence extends to his leadership of the COSMIC Industry Caucus, where he shapes national recommendations for In-Space Servicing, Assembly, and Manufacturing. Recognizing a vital gap in current planning, he developed Project Chimera to drive commercial interoperability across the sector. Underpinning this policy work is a rigorous technical focus: Joe currently leads Project SCADR, where he translates "First Principles" physics into autonomous robotic maneuvers. By integrating advanced vision logic and real-time Cartesian triangulation, he is moving ISAM from theoretical policy to a mission-ready, interoperable reality.
