Paula Trimble leads government affairs strategy at Muon Space, where she drives advocacy for the company’s mission-customized space systems. Founded in 2021, Muon Space is an end-to-end space systems company that designs, builds, and operates optimized satellite constellations to enable real-time decision-making in space. Paula brings more than two decades of experience in defense and aerospace policy and acquisition, most recently at the Space Development Agency as Director of Legislative and Interagency Engagement. At SDA, Paula crafted policy solutions to enable speed of acquisition and delivery, including accessing technology from small businesses and start-ups. She started her career in Washington DC as a reporter at Space News and Federal Computer Week and served as an analyst at the Department of Commerce - Office of Space Commerce and the Federal Aviation Administration Office of Commercial Space Transportation. Paula holds Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Pennsylvania State University.
